Introducing FastAPI Certified: Learn by Building Real Python APIs
Meet our comprehensive FastAPI course: 24 bilingual lessons, 48 knowledge checks, and 24 securely sandboxed Python challenges covering API design from first route to production.
Why we built FastAPI Certified
FastAPI makes it remarkably quick to expose a Python function as a typed HTTP endpoint. Production mastery, however, requires much more than adding a decorator. You need to understand request validation, dependency boundaries, asynchronous I/O, database transactions, authentication, authorization, testing, observability, performance, and safe deployment.
We built FastAPI Certified to connect those concerns into one practical learning path. Instead of treating framework features as isolated snippets, the course asks you to reason about complete request lifecycles and the trade-offs behind reliable API systems.
A production-focused curriculum
The course contains eight modules and 24 lessons, beginning with Python typing, Pydantic models, routing, and dependency injection. From there, it moves through async execution, persistence and transaction design, authentication and policy authorization, testing, security hardening, observability, performance, and deployment.
Every lesson is available in English and Arabic. The goal is not simply to recognize API names, but to make sound decisions: when to use async def, where validation belongs, how to keep authorization close to protected data, why transaction scope matters, and what signals help diagnose a failing service.
- Python typing, Pydantic validation, routing, and dependency injection
- Async I/O, persistence, transactions, and API contracts
- Authentication, authorization, security, testing, and observability
- Performance analysis, deployment readiness, and failure recovery
Real Python challenges, not JavaScript stand-ins
Authentic practice matters, so the course introduces native Python grading. Its 24 code challenges run learner submissions in isolated Vercel Sandbox microVMs with strict limits, disabled outbound networking, visible sample cases, and hidden authoritative tests. Existing JavaScript exercises continue to use the established runner.
The exercises focus on transferable backend reasoning: normalize validated data, enforce access rules, classify failures, preserve idempotency, and return stable API-shaped results. You receive deterministic feedback without exposing hidden tests or running untrusted code inside the web application process.
- 24 isolated Python coding challenges
- 48 bilingual quizzes across the learning path
- Visible examples plus hidden edge-case tests
What the certification is designed to prove
FastAPI Certified is an independent Framework Certified credential. It does not claim endorsement from the FastAPI project. It is designed to show structured completion and assessed practical knowledge across the full backend lifecycle—not to replace professional experience or guarantee employment.
The strongest outcome is a combination of the credential and evidence you can discuss: why you chose a dependency boundary, how you protected a resource, what your tests cover, and how you would observe and recover the service in production.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need advanced Python experience?
- No, but you should be comfortable with functions, classes, collections, exceptions, and basic type annotations. The course builds framework-specific depth from those foundations.
- Does the course run real Python code?
- Yes. Python submissions run in isolated, resource-limited Vercel Sandbox microVMs and are evaluated against visible and hidden deterministic tests.
- Is FastAPI Certified an official FastAPI credential?
- No. It is an independent Framework Certified credential and does not claim endorsement by the FastAPI project or its maintainers.
- How much does the course cost?
- Individual enrollment is $49. The course is also included in the lifetime all-access pass.
